Based in the beautiful Okanagan, we also have an additional hangar in the Lower Mainland. We have an exciting new opportunity to join Alpine Aerotech as an Experienced Component Shop Technician, in our West Kelowna location. Core Skills and Education

Preference will be given to applicants with helicopter component overhaul experience with a focus on Bell Helicopter products

Keen eye for detail and quality

Able to understand drawings and complete required documentations

High ability to multi-task and keep shop organized

Proven mechanical aptitude

Previous training and experience in aviation –

Positive attitude and team oriented

Safety awareness when working with solvents, cleaners, lubricants, sealants and paints

Ability to safely lift / move heavy objects

Communicate effectively in verbal and written English

Punctual and organized

Able to work well in a team environment

Job Summary:

Initiation and completion of paperwork

Disassembly of components

Cleaning and degreasing parts

Inspection of parts

Reassembly

General shop clean-up
