Family Support Worker - Woodstock

Position Duties:

Mentoring: Developing a rapport with individuals in need, expanding on their interest through the provision of opportunities throughout the community.

Respite: Provide temporary care for youth in the community with the goal of enhancing familial relationships.

Support: Provide transportation, to and from appointments or school as needed in order to effectively create a consistent and healthy routine.

Intervention services: Provision of non-judgmental, trauma informed and culture friendly supports to provide families the guidance needed through conflict resolution, building healthier relationships and positive outcomes to challenges that arise within the family dynamic.

Requirements

- Valid New Brunswick drivers license and insurance required

- Must be able to work with/around pets i.e., dogs and cats

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
