SalaryDuties:
- Provide support and assistance to a young adult in their home and their community.
- Support, encourage and mentor young adult to learn life skills to achieve their goals and increasing their independence.
- Support, encourage and mentor young adult in building positive relationships and interpersonal skills.
- Provide young adult with safe transportation to and from community activities.
- Assist with daily activities such as light cleaning and meal preparation.
- Communicate effectively with young adult and their family.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Must be 100% trustworthy and reliable
- Motivated, outgoing, energetic, positive, encouraging, kind personality
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Must communicate well in English.
- Must have a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
