Lorneville is accepting resumes for the position of Field Engineers.
These roles will support LMC in delivering products and services to our customers safely, with high quality and efficiently. Working in an office or site construction environment you will apply your technical and personal skills to support other Field Engineers and Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade-Supervisors as needed to meet our contracted deliverables.
Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes Required
· Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is considered a strong asset (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Mechanical Engineering Technologist program graduates also welcome to apply.
· Understanding of quality assurance and quality control
· Can work in a high pace demanding environment prioritizing and completing tasks as directed and when needed.
· Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
· Good problem solver, methodical thinker and good analytical skills.
· Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing.
· Has some practical experience executing construction work on boilers, electrical components, piping, structural steel, tanks and vessels, rotating and stationary equipment
· Estimating, sketching, interpreting drawings and specifications capabilities
· Knowledge of welding practices, processes
· Ability to schedule simple projects and shutdown work.
· Competent user of Microsoft Office software.
