Finance Coordinator

The Finance Administrator is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other tasks that support the organization's overall operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately input and maintain financial records, including transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare regular reports, analyze data, and provide records for internal and external users.
• Support month-end close and reconciliation of accounts, investigating discrepancies and posting manual journal entries as needed.
• Manage assets and liabilities, including inventory, fixed assets, leases,
• mortgages/loans, rentals, etc.
• Effectively communicate with vendors and customers via phone/email.
• Complete and file CRA and other government requirements.
• Assist the Controller in preparing financial statements and reports in the areas of
• income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
• Assist the Controller with annual budget creation, financial forecasting, cost/pricing
• analysis, and year-end processes/review.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft products
• High attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions
• Understanding of applied accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $53,000.00 per year
