About the OpportunityAs a Finance & Insurance Representative (Finance Manager / Business Manager) you will sell products and finance and insurance programs by understanding and presenting features and benefits; developing and qualifying prospective buyers; maintaining after sales customer contacts and follow-up.
Major Responsibilities:
- Produce additional revenue for dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other business office related products (e.g. extended warranties, financing and credit life / accident and health insurance plans, protection packages, etc.) to new and used vehicle customers.
- Interview clients for credit applications and inform them of their options.
- Manage all rate quotations, insurance fees and financing.
- Forward documents to obtain approval on financing to the appropriate lending source.
- Educate salespeople in effective practices and procedures related to F&I solutions.
- Work with sales management to maximize profits on every sale.
- Communicate pertinent information to sales consultants / managers as needed.
- Prepare appropriate legal documentation, delivery and submission paperwork.
- Track monthly reports on financial penetration and share with Dealer.
- Verify all documents for correct titles, taxes and lien information.
- Handle and respond to post-delivery customer inquiries such as warranty and loan payouts.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate, completed in a timely manner and all necessary supporting documentation is obtained.
- Ensure all finance and lease deals are submitted accurately and promptly funded.
- Complete required training & job knowledge within allotted times, attend F & I seminars; keep up to date with current programs & fulfill all licensing requirements.
- Enhance the dealership’s reputation by providing excellent customer service.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures and abide by governmental & VSA licensing rules.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications
- MDC / VSA (Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia) licensed
- A minimum of 2 years current Finance / Business Office experience
- Dynamic self starter, detail focused, extremely well organized with excellent time management skills
- Desire to work in a structured environment with defined processes
- A strong desire and ability to out perform goals and objectives
- Personable, courteous and outgoing nature along with strong work ethic
- Exceptional customer service and satisfaction characteristics
- Strong financial skills
- Solid command of the English language and strong communication skill – a second language beneficial
- Good computer and typing skills
- Broad understanding of automotive terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $48,000.00-$164,689.05 per year
