Major Responsibilities:
· Prepare and co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements for month-end and year-end, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations
· Assist with the development of the annual budget and analyze variances between budget and actual on an as needed basis
· Assist with cost accounting including the calculation of standard costs and support new model launch product cost calculation
· Conduct cost / benefit analysis
· Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset functions as required
Qualifications:
· Relevant University degree
· CPA candidate or in the process
· Previous experience in manufacturing environment is an asset but not required
· Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems, QAD or SAP experience preferred
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of the organization
· Able to work well independently or in a team environment
· Strong attention to detail and organization with high degree of confidentiality
· Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner
