Responsibilities and Duties
As the First Cook you will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing food preparations. You will need to manage all catering staff and ensure all duties are performed to a Kica quality. In addition, you will be responsible to do the following:
- Plan and execute daily meal services for camp attendees.
- Grocery ordering and inventory management.
- Supervisions of catering staff and kitchen operations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Cleaning food prep areas, equipment, and utensils, while strictly adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Enforcing hygiene and safety standards
Qualifications
- WHIMIS
- Food Safe Training
- Ability to work 12–hour shifts.

Salary: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 – 84 per week
Experience:
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
