Food And Beverage Server/Bartender

Timber Run Golf Club & Event Lodge is home to an 18-hole golf course located within the Lanark Highlands, along the banks of the Clyde River. With spectacular scenic views, see nature at its best.

Our beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with vaulted ceiling, curving staircase and stone fireplace provides a wonderful setting year-round for weddings, banquets, private parties, and golf tournaments.

Golf and events are our business. We are now hiring for the 2024 season.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, processing payments, and supplying them with Food and/or beverage in a timely fashion.
• Be adaptable to work in multiple areas of Food and Beverage.
• Handle multiple customers and tasks in an efficient manner.
• Cleaning and clearing tables and bar. Cleaning bar, glasses, and utensils.
• Learn the menu and Beverages served.
• Check identification to ensure customers are of proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Stock, drive and serve from a beverage cart on the golf course as needed.
• Regular inventory counts.
• Work food stand and banquets/events as needed.
• Build rapport with customers to create a positive and fun atmosphere.
• Maintain public washroom facilities. Duties include wiping down all sinks and counters thoroughly, replenish all paper products (paper towels and bathroom tissue), spot mop bathroom floors as required and place wet floor signage at entrance of bathroom.
• Clean patio furniture and arrange chairs.
• Spot sweep the restaurant daily.
• Weekly side duties include dusting all corners and ledges, clearing cobwebs and washing interior and exterior windows of lounge as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager.
• Must follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be able to work a flexible work shift including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Current Smart Serve Certificate.
• Experience considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
