Job Description:

Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for Forklift Operators to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in standard forklift driving is an important asset. Permanent full-time position, unionized. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Drive the forklift safely;
• Load and unload the merchandise while respecting the procedures established by Gentek;
• Ensure the production line doesn’t miss supplies;
• Be sure to strictly follow health and safety rules;
• Perform various production-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Master French. English is an asset
• A valid forklift license;
• Experience in driving a standard sit-down forklift;
• Be able to work in rotation on shifts: day, evening, night;
• Punctual, reliable and professional;
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Be aware of the importance of following the Health and Safety rules;
• Have a positive and determined attitude.
