Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Greet, register and assign appropriate rooms to guests based upon requests and other factors.
• Collect complete guest information for reservations, email confirmations and Choice Rewards Enrolments. Confirm all information with the guest for each reservation to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure brand and ownership amenities are provided appropriately at arrival based upon traveller type, rate type, and membership level.
• Handling of guest complaints must be performed in a professional, timely manner and with appropriate action utilizing the “YES I CAN” service attitude. Know what you are authorized to do for our guests to ensure they always leave satisfied and communicate what the issue was and how it was resolved for review and tracking.
• Answer the phone within 3 rings, excusing yourself from guests in front of you to answer and determine action required, and offering options to the person on the line for timely service (toll free reservations, return call, transfer to another representative, etc.).
• Have resources at the ready to answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, Choice Rewards loyalty program, travel directions and area entertainment options.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to accept directions and priorities from supervisor and reliably follow-through on tasks.
• Ability to be friendly and cheerful; interacts easily and professionally with co-workers and guests.
• Ability to cooperate and support others.
• Ability to work independently, with accuracy, with little supervision.
• Grooming must meet standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook
