Reservations Clerk and Store Cashier

Spring Valley Resort, 7489 Sideroad 5 East, RR6, Mount Forest, ON

Reporting to the Resort Administrator, the Reservations Clerk/Store Cashier will be responsible for the Front Desk/Reception and Retail Store at Spring Valley Resort.

What you will be doing:

· Processing reservations over the phone, on-line and in person.

· Creating emails, newsletters, posters, and other documents as required.

· Handling all outgoing and incoming communication.

· Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the main office and retail store.

· Payment processing.

· End of day reports and deposits.

· Inventory

· Maintaining customer accounts/files.

**Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Skills and Abilities:

· Math/basic accounting skills

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

· Be aware of and operate within the applicable Occupational Health and Safety Legislation Standards, Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and company Health and Safety policies.

· Maintain a professional appearance and have a “Can Do” positive attitude.

· Maintain professional composure in challenging situations.

· Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Work independently with limited supervision.

· Ability to prioritize situations or tasks on demand.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.

**Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.55-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Ability to Relocate:

• Mount Forest, ON: Relocate before starting work (required)
