Job Summary:
The Customer Service role is responsible to ensure that all clients are welcomed and treated in a highly professional manner following service policies, procedures and standards. Assisting Office Manager with general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in preparation for opening and closing the office
- Responsible for preparing invoices, credit notes, refunds and packing slips
- Ensure sales transactions are completed in an accurate manner
- Responsible for reconciling credit/debit card transactions
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable files
- Actively greeting customers and assisting in a professional and efficient way
- Answering all phone calls and transferring to appropriate staff member
- Directing customers to appropriate staff when unable to assist yourself
- Maintain safety files and employees records such as signing off on safety policies, employee handbooks
- Gathers information for new employee files
- Requests appropriate information for credit checks and wholesale applications
- Organizing daily batch slips and bringing to appropriate location
- Data entry when requested by staff members
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Having plant knowledge is an advantage, but not a must
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking
- Problem solving
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Salary: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
