Front End Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Frontend React Engineer to work with our client to create a chatbot and solutions for industries such as: financial services, supply chain, healthcare, and more. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and enhancing the user interface of our products, directly impacting our users' experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable frontend code using React.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
• Implement responsive design to ensure our web applications are mobile-friendly.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems, as well as performance issues.
• Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in frontend development to keep our projects innovative and relevant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with React and its core principles, including state management (Redux, Context API).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) is a plus.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
