Front End Loader Operator

Alliance Agri-Turf is an agricultural supplier that operates a network of facilities that supply and deliver crop inputs to the local farming community.

Role Summary We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as an operator running an articulating loader in our fertilizer warehouse, and will be required to assist in regular maintenance to the facility.

Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Loader Operator include, but are not limited to:

• Operate articulating loader and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner in a high pace environment for prolonged periods of time..
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment and report any defects immediately.
• Assist in routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the plant
• Be responsible for ensuring the work area is tidy at the end of the day which involves sweeping areas where bulk fertilizer has spilled.

Working Conditions

• Overtime as required.
• Work is performed in a warehouse setting,
• Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 50lbs.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant should possess;
• A valid driver’s license..
• Willing to work overtime and weekends in Spring.
• An understanding of the agricultural industry would also be an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
