Delivery Drivers ensure that products are delivered on time and in the proper condition to Devoted Pet Lovers’ homes. They pick-up items in store and deliver them to customers while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Delivery Drivers work as part of the district team in order to confirm that orders are complete, correct, and safely delivered. They communicate effectively with store teams, District Managers and Devoted Pet Lovers to provide positive, a high level of consistent and solution-oriented customer service. They prioritize Safety, Compassion, Expertise and Efficiency in all they do, and they live by our Core Beliefs.
Additional Information:
- This position will also have a secondary role of Part-Time Keyholder to support store function.
Responsibilities:
- Safety – Operate in a way that builds trust with our customers, pets, and ACEs.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Load, carry, and place items in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
- Ensure a safe pick-up and delivery experience, following local and federal safety guidelines.

- Complete driving log and daily paperwork accurately.
- Provide special care in delivering fragile products.

- Analyze delivery addresses, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
- Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Accurately track delivery process.
Experience, Education, Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle, insurance & registration
- Reliable personal smartphone for delivery app and communication to customers and stores
