Full Time Live In Caregiver (E27)

RAPS is Seeking a Live in Caregiver to assist an individual with Dementia (E27)

Location: south Edmonton

Days: 6 days a week

Hours: 9am-6pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: personal care (Bathing, dressing, toileting), meal preparation and feeding assistance, mobility and walking assistance, range of motion exercises, support on outings, medication administration. Encouragement of physical activity and encouragement and participation of cognitive memory games. Light housekeeping and laundry and home management.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, the health Care aide certificate or equivalent experience, First aid/ CPR certificate. Having Direct Dementia experience considered an asset.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a problem solver.

Rate of Pay: $3600 + accommodations and meals.
