Must have a minimum Grade 12 or equivalent GED
Be able to work alternate weekends
Must have a valid driver license
Must provide a driver's abstract as well as a criminal record check
Ability to operate various types of equipment-backhoe, grader, tractor, mowers, vehicles, sweeper, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Knowledge of Municipal water and sewer systems would be an asset
Must be willing to work towards Class 1 Water Distribution and Treatment and Class 1 Wastewater Collection and Treatment operator certification.
Must be mechanically inclined, skilled in the operation of heavy equipment, machinery and vehicles.
Must possess good public relations and communication skills.
Perform general maintenance of all equipment i: oil changes, greasing, cleaning interior and exterior, fluid checks and minor repairs that are easily identified.
