Overview of the Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for the daily operation of the fluid milk filling and processing equipment.
- Responsible for efficient operation of fluid processing equipment from silos to finished product.
- Ensures equipment is operating at maximum performance and investigates any potential problem area.
- Takes corrective action to eliminate problems and improve effectiveness
- Records all necessary documentation
- Tests product at various stages of processing
- Routine sanitation and clean-in-place (CIP) of vessels, valves and process equipment
- Follows and enforces HACCP and GMP program requirements
- Responsible for general housekeeping and maintenance as required
- Works in a team environment and interacts with other department employees
- Performs other duties as required
- This position requires rotating shift work, which could range from days/evening/weekdays and/or weekends

- Class 4 Power Engineer
- Good communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Highly self-motivated and good self-initiative
- Proficiency and dependability in current position.
