We are located in the UBC Vancouver Campus, mainly serving real fruit, tea-based drinks, and Asian desserts. We are looking for full-time bubble tea lovers who could work in a fast-paced environment to share their passion with others.
Some key responsibilities include the following:
- Assist customers with their customizations and requests
- Make recommendations based on popular pairings
- Clean and sanitize storefront
- Track inventory
- Put away deliveries when they arrive
- Wash and cut fruits
- Make and serve drinks
- Wash and sanitize tools, shakers, etc.
- Sweep and mop as necessary
- Handle cash and various payment methods
We are looking for individuals with the following:
- Have prior retail or service industry experience in Canada.
- Able to speak English fluently as well as reading at a high-school level.
- Able to work at least one weekend per week.
- A good fit with our current working environment and staff members.
- Have a current BC Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
- Able to work in Canada legally.
- Able to start in March or early April 2024.
You must be available during the following hours:
- Weekdays 9AM to 9PM
- Weekends 11AM to 7PM
Your weekly shifts may change depending on business needs, it will be a mix of opening and closing shifts. Your expected weekly hours will be 32-40 hours. Schedules are usually published one week in advance.
All new hires will go through training regardless of experience, which starts at minimum wage, the training period is different for each individual depending on learning and adaptability.
