Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is a leading worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products. It serves the aerospace, power, and general industrial markets. We have a current opportunity for a full-time Blast Operator to join our PCC Brampton Ontario Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.

***Day Shift Monday- Friday***

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

· Perform receiving inspections (before processing) as needed and immediately report any damage or discrepancy.

· Abrasive blasting production parts and hardware using Aluminum Oxide, Plastic Media, and Glass Beads.

· Gathers supplies such as racks, tooling, baskets, carts (etc).

Prepare (Clean, Mask, Sand grit blast ) parts for thermal spraying and setup part in tooling, .

Setup Thermal spray console and robot program.

Perform in-process dimensional checks using micrometer and other instruments.

Monitor machine parameters affecting the quality of the coating including console readings, and process temper

· Will require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during certain tasks (goggles, safety glasses, aprons, boots, gloves, hearing protection, etc) and be expected to comply with safety directives and policy.
· Work closely with area leadership to complete work·

· Clean, organize and maintain work area as prescribed by supervision.

Required Skills:

· Basic mathematic skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

· Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Specifically, applicants must be able to read and understand written procedures and instructions.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced and ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.
