Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Administrator to join our team, in a full-time remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health and Safety programs for multiple clients. Some tasks include safety content development, delivering orientations, managing statistics, and official communications.

Responsibilities:

· Provide exceptional support to ensure the implementation of Health and Safety initiatives that align with the organization's safety culture and goals, as well as regulations and best practices.

· Develop and deliver regular safety training programs for employees at all levels. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and effectively communicate key safety concepts.

· Provide training to employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and emergency response protocols.

· Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training sessions, and incidents, and ensure that all records are complete, up-to-date, and in compliance.

· Collaborate with Health and Safety consultants to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization, encouraging active participation in safety initiatives and programs.

· Maintain provincial and local regulations to ensure adherence to company, regulatory, and Safety requirements, including compliance with established procedures, documentation completion, and annual reviews.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track safety performance.

· Create and develop daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meeting communications.

· May receive calls outside the regular working hours in the event of an accident or severe injury.

· Oversees regular internal inspections of the workplace identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety standards, taking appropriate corrective action to address any hazards identified during inspections.

· Additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

· Ability to work with and influence others to cultivate a positive safety culture.

· Able to create written safety procedures such as Job Hazard Assessments (JHA), Safety Procedures, Safety Policies, and Standard Work Practices.

· Strong verbal and written communication. Able to speak clearly and persuasively in challenging situations. Able to talk to large groups of people delivering orientations and practical training.

· 2-5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.

· Ability to work without direct supervision.

· Experience developing and facilitating training programs and protocols, as well as experience with data analysis and reporting.

· Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and strong organizational and time management.

· Knowledge and skill with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
