The Crew Member oversees the shift operations, sales performance, and guest experience in the support of the Leaders and Managers. This includes taking a front-line role in processing orders, preparing food and beverages, serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness of the store and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hands on food preparation and delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
- Complete store opening and/or store closing procedures
- Receive, organize, and count inventory food, juice, supplies, and retail products
- Document product transfers, waste, and spoilage using appropriate forms
- Ensure compliance with customer service, food safety, cleanliness, and occupational health & safety standards
- Accept customer payments through debit, credit, and cash ensuring strict adherence to cash control policies and procedures
- Use Point of Sales systems to process in-house and 3rd Party Delivery Orders
- Prepare all food and beverage menu items according to Glory recipes
- Sample products to customers
- Answer guest questions on the flavor profile, ingredients, and nutritional qualities of products.
- Remain current and implement sales of new products, promotions, and operational procedures
- Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotate product
- Maintain food ingredient supplies in the prep area
- Maintain back stock areas and coolers
- Practice safe use of all tools and equipment
- Properly package and display products for retail sale
- Properly wrap and store unused products in coolers
- Wash equipment, dishes, and utensils
- Clean guest areas, food preparation stations, washrooms, storage areas, and coolers according to maintenance schedule and as required.
- Attend all store and training meetings when scheduled
- Follow proper etiquette when answering phones and responding to enquiries
