Pharmacy Assistant With Experience

The position is for a Pharmacy Assistant for a Pharmacy in East York; Don Mills & Eglinton

Job Type: Ongoing

Pharmacy assistant must be considerate of the retail nature of this position, hence, they must be friendly, have good communication skills, and confidence when speaking to patients. Experience, while an asset, is notrequired for this position, training will be provided.

Day to day tasks would mainly involve three categories:

(1) pharmaceutical-based tasks such as:

• preparing and labelling meds (including counting and processing prescriptions on the Filware system)
• checking expiry dates

(2) customer service tasks such as:

• answering phone calls
• greeting patients

(3) routine retail tasks such as:

• helping with inventory
• receiving orders & pricing merchandise
• general cleaning of shelves and pharmacy upkeep

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• canadian Pharmacy Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
