Pharmacy Assistant

Chesterville Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. Chesterville Pharmacy is part of the Valley Health Pharmacies group - http://valleyhealth.ca/

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be an important member of the pharmacy team and use your teamwork and communication skills to ensure the clients we service are healthy and happy.

For this position, you will be responsible for data entry, preparing & checking medications for clients, as well as medication verification, order preparation, and any other Pharmacy Assistant duties as required by the pharmacy. If you have experience with LTC pharmacy (Pacmed, Pacvision, retirement home prescriptin entry, etc.) this will be a definite advantage for the position.

Preferences:

-Prior pharmacy experience is an important asset, although not a requirement if you have worked in a related field (retirement homes, doctors offices, hospitals, etc.)

- Teamwork and positive attitude are requirements to ensure smooth operations of the pharmacy and to embrace the family atmosphere

- Accurate, efficient working skills is critical to meet deadlines

- Excellent organization and time-management skills is a must

- Prior experience working in pharmacies that service Retirement Homes

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Chesterville Pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 3 pm. Competitive pay, benefits available, great work hours, team atmosphere, staff lunches, and much more included with the position.

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
