SalaryPrimary Responsibilities:
- Course setup (changing holes, moving tee blocks)
- Mowing (tees, greens, fairways, rough)
- Machine Operation (riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers etc)
- Minor projects assigned by the superintendent or management
- Leading and/or assisting in gardening (planting, weeding, edging, tree pruning)
- Applying sand and seed on tee blocks and other parts of the fairways and wherever else needed (hand levelling)
- Picking up brush, sticks, blowing leaves and weed whipping, raking and other physical activities
- Maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure they are kept in safe and working condition (including greasing, refuelling, cleaning, oiling)
- Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude an asset
- Must be physically fit and able to lit moderate weight (30 to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team environment
- Must be able to work in possible extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of the game of golf is an asset, but not required
- Physically able to perform various tasks by means of walking, sitting, lifting and bending
- Gardening would be a huge asset
- Possess a valid G driver’s licence and must have own transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 - 7 months
Salary: $16.55-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 48 per week
