SalaryFounded in 1922, this Stanley Thompson/Robbie Robinson designed course is home to 360 members. The course is located in historic Jackson's Point within easy driving distance of Georgina, Keswick, Sutton, Virginia Beach and surrounding area. The lakeside layout features majestic pines and sloped greens, and has a reputation as one of the top courses in the area.
We are currently looking to fill both full and part time seasonal positions for the 2024 season running from mid-April to late October. We hire based on attitude and teach skill.
We are excited to be building a new Turf Maintenance Facility that will be ready in the summer of 2024, and are starting the season off strong with a new equipment fleet.
What you will learn:
- Safe operation of various mowers and utility vehicles, and tools such as blowers, trimmers, rakes.
- Variety of daily maintenance practices including:
- Cutting greens, tees, rough and fairways
- Raking bunkers
- Line trimming and other detail work
- Course set up including hole changing, tee block placement and divot filling
- Spring and fall clean up, and other general landscape duties
What you bring:
- Landscape/Golf experience is not required
- Ability to work early mornings (5:30 AM) and weekends, and reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Enjoy working outside in all weather conditions and being part of a team.

Job Types: Seasonal (April through October), Full (30-35 hours) and Part-time (15-20 hours)
Flexible schedule options:
- 6 days on, 1 day off (work one 3-4 hour weekend shift per week)
- 12 days on, 2 days off (work alternate weekends, 3-4 hour shifts)
- Weekdays only
