Job Title: Graphic Designer .
Department: Graphics & Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Summary Statement:
This role works on a number of projects to develop creative design and production artwork. It requires a creative flair, sense of urgency to meet deadlines, and adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Proofreading/editing instruction manuals and modifying graphics (technical design)
§ Assist in the development and creation of weekly flyers, eblast, and sell/spec sheets for products
§ Update social media: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
§ Website update and maintenance
§ Photography/post production
§ Manipulating photo images including masking, color correction, layout and designs
§ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
§ Completion of post-secondary program or combination of education and experience
§ Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop
§ Familiarity with Wordpress
- Creative thinker
§ Demonstrated knowledge of the full printing process
§ Strong understanding of consumer usability and search engine usability
§ Ability to work independently and within a team environment
§ Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
§ Strong organization skills
§ Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
§ Ability to present ideas to all levels of the organization with confidence
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
