Reporting to the Chef at Caesar’s Steak House at our Willow Park location 110, 10816 Macleod Trail S. The Grill Cook contributes to all back of house operations and is responsible for primarily grilling premium steak on our grill with a high degree of skill, including cleaning, trimming, and portioning meat while managing costs.
This role will also perform a variety of food preparation duties including but not limited to: washing and cleaning produce and shellfish, chopping ingredients separating portions, plating cold food and dessert menu items according to Caesar’s specific recipe guidelines and standards, inventory control, rotation of goods, ensuring all equipment and station is organized, clean, sanitized and maintained in working order.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be capable of working in a team and communicate with the Chef and other cooks including the front of house team during work service to ensure exceptional and timely delivery of all food.
Qualified candidates must have a passion for food and customer service and be experienced in effectively working on a line to achieve the highest standard of food production. This position will lead to opportunities for advancement for the right person.
The role includes split shifts - lunch and dinner service. Shifts are Monday to Saturday. Closed Sundays.
