- Commute to clients' homes to provide outlined services on an agreed upon schedule.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding etc…).
- Change bedding, complete light meal preparation and house tidying as needed.
- Complete basic patient care documentation.
- Report any patient concerns or clinical findings to the appropriate members of the healthcare team for follow up.
- Uphold the mission and values of the client organization.
- Contribute to enhancing the overall quality of life to the patients/clients assigned to your care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- CPR certification within the last 12 months.
- Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sectors portion (within the last 6 months).
- Physical ability to work in a role which requires extended time on your feet.
- Valid Manitoba Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation.
- You must reside within Manitoba to be considered for this position.
