```Duties``` - Provide direct patient care and assistance to individuals in a healthcare setting - Administer medications and ensure proper dosage and timing - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Help patients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary - Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients ```Qualifications``` - Previous experience in healthcare or a related field preferred - Knowledge of medication administration and senior care practices - Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient mobility - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients - Familiarity with dementia care is a plus - Valid nurse assistant certification or home health aide certification is preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
