Health Care Assistant Program Instructor
Term, Part-time (85%) Cranbrook Campus
April 8, 2024, to November 8, 2024
Duties: One instructor is required to teach our Health Care Assistant Program. You should enjoy teaching adult learners with a variety of learning needs. Some flexibility of work hours may be required.
Qualifications: Current registration as A Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals is required. BSN preferred, however Registered Nurses enrolled in a BSN program may be considered. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Proficient computer skills are required and experience with education technology is an asset. Preference given to those with previous experience teaching adults.
As an employee of the College of the Rockies the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.
Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for term, part-time employees is in a range from $5,618.97 - $9,004.15 per month (this includes 16% in lieu of vacation)
