Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective repair and maintenance of all crushing and mobile equipment under the guidance of the Equipment Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring maximum production uptime and extending the useful life of our equipment. The Technician will also play a key role in supporting the Equipment Manager in day-to-day operations. This is a 7 days on 7 days off schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform effective repair and maintenance of crushing and mobile equipment as directed by the Equipment Manager.
• Support the Equipment Manager in coordinating and maintaining equipment and vehicle performance on a daily basis.
• Attend educational workshops, review technical publications, and establish personal networks to stay updated with technical knowledge.
• Document and communicate all actions, irregularities, and ongoing equipment needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist the Equipment Manager with equipment tracking needs, including asset hours, work order creation/completion, and purchase orders.
• Update maintenance records with current service and preventative maintenance status.
• Maintain tidy work areas, parts bunks, and yard to ensure efficient operations.
• Comply with Health & Safety compliance and practices at all times.

Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade
• Class 5 Driver's License .
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to focus and prioritize tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support team members.
• Adaptability and acceptance of change within the work environment, team structure, and company growth.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions.

Salary: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84 per week
