Heavy Equipment Technician

A well-established Earthmoving Company in business for over 75 years. Based in Wingham Ontario, serving our clients throughout Southwestern Ontario.

We are actively seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to complete repairs on our fleet of John Deere, CAT, Komatsu and Volvo Heavy Construction Equipment.

Job/ Skills Required:

• Ability to work independently and/or around your colleagues in a safe manner
• Valid G Licence – DZ/AZ an asset – Clean driving abstract
• Preferred 310T, 310S or equivalent work experience
• High School Diploma – Minimum, Post secondary preferred
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Organization, Clean Work habits and interpersonal skills
• Ability to utilize and learn new technology, Computer literate – internet, diagnostic programs/computers, etc
• Shop and/or Field work experience
• Willingness & Flexibility to be away overnight during our busy season

We are offering a full-time, year-round position. Competitive starting wage based on experience. Upon completion of the probationary period, group benefit package is available.
