We are a full line Bobcat dealership as well as the dealership for Doosan Heavy equipment. We boast a strong sales and service team, and a fully stocked parts room.
We are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman) to join our Service team.
As the Heavy Equipment Technician, you are responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs
- Completing the installation of new and added on equipment
- Cleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance work
- Ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies
- Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
You have the following skills and education:
- Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (or 2nd-4th Year Apprentice); or equivalent
- Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and the ability to go on service calls when required
- Experience working on bobcats, loaders, etc.
- Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
You can work in the following conditions:
- 40 hours a week plus on-call and overtime when required
- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, both at our shop and at customer locations
- Working with your hands and lifting heavy objects
- Working while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
