Our client located in the Whitby, Ontario area is looking for Senior IT support detail oriented for a contract opportunity. Responsibilities: Duties will include but are not limited to: · Providing end user support via Help Desk tickets, calls, e-mails, and in-person · installation and configuration of computer hardware/software & printers · Provide Android/iPhone and Mitel Phone system setup and support. · Troubleshoot computer, Thin Client, printer, and server related issues. · Supporting Microsoft 365 Apps · Setup and Troubleshoot MFA configurations. · Administration and maintenance of user accounts (On-Prem and Azure AD) · Set up and support AV equipment and laptops for events and meetings. · Provide training and documentation on new and existing software. · Working with vendors to arrange repair and maintenance of equipment. · Onboarding and Training of new employees · Offboarding of employees · Work as part of the IT support team to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. · Troubleshooting network related issues (VPN, RDS, Print Server)
Qualifications: · Post-Secondary education in Information Technology, Desktop Support, or related discipline. · 4 -5 years of end user desktop support experience · Familiar with MDM deployments · Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Servers in a Hyper-V virtual environment. · Knowledge of Exchange Online, managing accounts, delegation, DL’s, MFA setup · Knowledge of SharePoint, both On-prem and online. Sharing, managing access and Permissions · Proficient in developing documentation for applications and processes. · Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting abilities is a must. · Ability to work effectively and courteously with all levels of staff. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain yourself clearly. · Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision. · Excellent time management with the ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
