Better Way Home Care is looking for team members to join their team. Applicants must be passionate about providing premium care for seniors and individuals who require additional home care support. Ideal applicants must be willing to work hourly on a casual basis. Some overnight shifts may be required. Applicants must have a valid Alberta Driver’s License and own a reliable vehicle. Ability to work independently with excellent critical thinking skills. Must have strong written and spoken communication skills.
Job Description:
- Socializing, games, outings, walks.
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming
- Transportation for grocery shopping, medical appointments, or social outings etc.
- Errands and shopping
- Monitoring health conditions
- Pet care
- Technology assistance
Requirements:
- Available to work on a casual hourly basis
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Clean police with vulnerable sector check
- Excellent health
- First Aid
- BLS
- Alberta Driver’s License & reliable vehicle w/ commercial insurance

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 40 per week

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
