Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong administrative skills. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing electronic medical records, and performing various administrative tasks.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Dentrix or Epic software
- Assist with patient registration, including updating personal information and medical history
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on test results
- Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean and organized

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems and computers

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
