Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist/Assistant to join our downtown foot care office. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Thursday and potentially some Fridays. As a Medical Receptionist/Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointment(s) and make reminder calls as needed
- Process payments
- Answer phone calls; respond to voicemails and emails - Administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning, etc. - Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy - Escort patients to exam room and prepare them for treatment as needed - Assist with sanitizing treatment rooms and instruments as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist is preferred
- Knowledge of the Jane Practice Management Software an asset
- Reliable, friendly, patient, compassionate and respectful - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a team is essential
Salary: $19-$20 hourly
