Hospitality Supervisor - Summer Job

The Supervisor of Hospitality is responsible for running our bars and cabana service throughout the park. At Calypso we have 6 bar locations in the park and host a variety of events requiring bar service. Our all-park AGCO licence requires a supervisor who understands the liquor licencing laws in Ontario as well as premium customer service.
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic leader to supervise our staff of approximately 25 bartenders and servers and 4 team leaders.

DUTIES
- Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Train and mentor staff members to provide outstanding customer service & familiarize and train your staff on Calypso's internal Alcohol Policy

- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Oversee food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on qualifications and fit

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour
