Hostess/Host

Table 51 Laval is presently looking for a DAY hostess. Must be available Saturday and Sunday. Shift would be from 11am -4pm.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and assist with any menu inquiries
- Take and manage reservations over the phone or in person
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Assist with seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and special requests

Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and provide exceptional service
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
