Job Overview:
Are you passionate about cleanliness? We're seeking an energetic, conscientious, and responsible individual to lead our housekeeping and washroom cleaning team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our rental accommodations, campground washrooms and other park facilities in a clean, sanitary, and comfortable condition for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently clean accommodations and other park facilities following established procedures.
- Schedule and assign duties and supervise a small cleaning team.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests and maintenance needs are met promptly.
- Ensure all surfaces, appliances, and fixtures are sparkling clean for new guest check-ins.
- Maintain tidiness of both outside and inside areas, including window washing.
- Perform laundry duties for guest house rooms and other rental units.
- Greet guests with a friendly attitude and handle customer service interactions.
- Responsible for inventory management of cleaning supplies and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Safely operate a golf cart to transport cleaning supplies.
- Comply with all with all federal and provincial safety programs by adhering to established guidelines as set out by Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations as they relate to the workplace ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground guests.
- Contribute positively to our team with a helpful and cooperative approach.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and WHMIS training.
- Physical stamina, mobility, and ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Computer proficiency is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good listening skills and strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Excellent customer service.
Duration: Full-time seasonal position available from mid-April to November.
Wages & Benefits:
