The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing daily HR services to retail team leaders and team members, and provide support with respect to talent acquisition, integration/orientation, training & development, employee engagement, and support for all talent management practices. The successful candidate will have a passion for people, living our values of Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence.
Responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment – posting jobs, review resumes, conduct interviews
- Filing HR and Health and Safety documents
- Maintaining spreadsheets for tracking certifications, statistics, and compliance
- Assisting with planning special events such as social club activities, Christmas party, community builder events, annual service awards, and other extracurricular happenings
- Working directly with Marketing, Human Resources, and Health and Safety
- Greeting, filtering, distributing, and accepting information and paperwork from employees and the public, then relaying that information to the correct parties
- Prepare new hire packages, conduct orientation and assist with employee training
- Planning and booking of meeting rooms, training for staff, and ordering supplies and services as needed for department associated event planning.
- Helping to prepare for the COR Audit
- Other administrative duties as required
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Ability to provide a clean drivers abstract and operate a company vehicle
- Administrative experience working with all types of computer programs
- The ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, presentation tools and equipment to create employee communication materials Friendly, team player with a sense of urgency
