- Pay rate: $25/hour
- Location: Edmonton, Sherwood Park, AB
- Shifts : Monday – Friday |8 hours/day

- Provide support to HR Lead
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Execute HR generalist tasks to uphold service excellence
- Recruit and source candidates for entry-level Union positions
- Collaborate with business leaders on organizational announcements and new hire onboarding
- Assist leaders and team members with various HR processes and employee engagement initiatives, including but not limited to: candidate interviews, payroll, benefits, communications, onboarding, record keeping, events preparation etc
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Talent Center and Kronos
- Serve as the point of contact for employee record inquiries
- College degree for HR or Businessis preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in HR Administration
- Proficiency in HR policies and procedures
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle ownership
- High fluency in using MS Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Experience working with union employees
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, Kronos)
- Service-oriented with a commitment to teamwork and learning
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally and the ability to effectively manage relationships at all levels
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive communications and data
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities on a daily basis
- Service/Customer oriented attitude
- Follow through on commitments and promises
- Engage self and others in learning
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
