We are a fast-growing, dynamic, and innovative cannabis production company, committed to providing high-quality products to its customers. We are looking for a talented and motivated Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician to join our team and help drive our continued growth.

About the role:

Reporting to the Lead Hand or designate, the Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Hydrocarbon Extraction, meeting quality levels and following SOPs.

Duties and responsibilities (include and are not limited to):

• Perform extractions using hydrocarbon (butane & propane).
• Perform post-processing and clean-up of extracts.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on extraction instrumentation and other equipment.
• Meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Work with the QA team to assess the quality of extractions.
• Document output and waste.
• Maintain organized documentation of data and batch production records.
• Assist other departments as necessary.

Qualifications/competencies:

• A minimum of two years of experience in various extraction methods preferred.
• Fire safety and hazardous material safety knowledge.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Diligent record-keeping.
• Ability to perform tedious tasks.
• Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and assess mathematical-based data.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• Cannabis: 1 year (preferred)
