Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of Ice Cream flavors and toppings
- Operate Ice Cream machines and equipment
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the Ice Cream production area
- Assist customers with selecting flavors and toppings
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Manage time effectively to meet production demands
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Knowledge of food industry standards and practices
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and presentation of Ice Cream products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures for food handling areas
