As we celebrate our 10th year in business, we want to expand our team with skilled and motivated professionals. We're seeking an Inside Sales/Sales Manager to join our growing team.
As the Inside Sales/Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for selling products and services to customers. Using mostly email and phone communication, the successful candidate is able to employ effective sales strategies to get buyers what they want.
The Inside Sales/Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Conduct thorough review of specifications and drawings.
- Focus on low, medium and high voltage equipment sales.
- Prepare subcontractor bid packages – includes compiling quantities and writing detailed scope. Answer technical questions from bidders.
- Prepare proposals by organizing all material, equipment, labour, and subcontract costs needed to complete the project.
- Solicit and coordinate with Vendors and Suppliers to obtain materials quotes.
- Track all sales and regularly communicate with other team members.
- Meet with clients, engineers, general contractors, and others regarding proposed construction projects.
- Ability to prepare website sales content.
- Responding to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently
- Answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Building rapport with customers
- Collecting customer information for future follow-ups
- Upselling services and making product recommendations
- Closing sales and achieving company quotas
- Identifying sales opportunities
- Staying informed about product and service information updates
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in electrical services.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical sales.
- Excellent customer service
- Clear communication and active listening
- Ability to process information well
- People oriented and experienced in rapport building
- Ability to sell and promote
- Working knowledge of various technology and software programs
- Strong product knowledge
- Excellent time management
- Sense of urgency, flexibility, and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
- Valid Drivers License.
