Qualifications:
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
- Minimum 5 years experience working in the industry as a journeyperson (10 years preferred)
- Minimum of one year in a teaching, leadership, mentoring or coaching role
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Additional Qualifications considered an asset:
- Truck and Transport Mechanic Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
- BC Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent teaching certificate
- BC Class 1 drivers license with Airbrake endorsement
