Our Client is comprised of different companies that build and manage Self-Storage, High Density Residential, Commercial Office, Retail, Gaming and Entertainment properties. They also offers Data Management and Destruction Services. As the Accountantyou are responsible for organizing and administering the accounting department. The Accountant will strategically analyze financial systems to identify inefficiencies and gaps and implement change to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for monitoring the financial health of the organization and ensure reporting obligations are met.

- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment.
- Participate inmonthly, quarterly, and annual company financial statements including balance sheets, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
- Examine financial data to pinpoint trends that demand managerial focus.
- Ensure compliance with reporting obligations for the Federal and Provincial governments and industry specific regulatory bodies such as OLG and iGO.
- 3+years of experience in a full-cycle Financial Accounting experience
- A post-secondary degree in business or similar.
- 2+ years of experience with financial reporting
