Footholds Therapy combines clinical judgment with compassion and hope to create therapeutic living environments in which goals are realized, and hope and health are restored.
Our clinical team and organization are composed of experts in a variety of fields including Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Clinical Psychology. Intervention & Education Specialists will be supporting youth with challenging behaviours, complex needs, a possible history of trauma, and neurodiverse diagnoses. Working in a residential setting, our team implements our Guiding Principles, providing for the social-emotional and physical needs of our clients through assisting with daily living skills, implementing therapeutic goals to increase independence and regulation, and working on adapted and targeted academics that fit with the learners’ developmental level.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of therapeutic models, behaviour intervention, mental health diagnoses, and experience working with children with challenging behaviours and complex needs.
Preferred applicants will have SIVA Training, MANDT, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and a diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or a related field.
Job Types: Part-time with the possibility of increasing to full-time.
